Terms of Service
Last updated: October 8, 2026. Version 1 of this document.
These terms govern the use of the International DISC Institute platform. By creating an account you accept them, together with the Privacy Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy. The provider is International DISC Institute, a non-profit organization registered in the United States under number 6226774, with its registered address at 8 The Green, Suite B, Dover, DE 19901, USA.
1. Accounts
Accounts are created by invitation from the Institute or from a teacher. You must be at least 16 years old (or the higher age required by the law of your country of residence), give truthful data and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us at once if you suspect someone else is using it.
2. Exams and certification
- You must take exams personally, without help from other people or unauthorised material, and without sharing questions or answers.
- Some answers are graded automatically, also with artificial intelligence; a teacher or administrator may review any grade.
- Passing an exam issues a diploma and seals with a number and a QR code that let third parties verify your certification while your account exists.
- We may revoke a certification obtained by fraud or in breach of these terms.
3. Graduate directory
Your directory profile is public when visible. You decide what it shows and you are responsible for its content being true and lawful. We may hide content that breaks the Acceptable Use Policy.
4. Payments and renewals
Paid certifications and directory plans are annual subscriptions charged through Stripe at the price shown before payment, and renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the period already paid is not refunded, except where the law requires it. Taxes may apply depending on your country.
5. Intellectual property
The exams, materials, brand, diplomas and seals belong to the Institute or its licensors. You may share your own diploma and seals to prove your certification, but not copy, modify or distribute exams or materials.
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, after notice where reasonable. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to info@interdisc.org; what happens then is explained in the Privacy Policy.
7. Liability
We provide the platform with reasonable care but cannot guarantee it is always available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or your rights as a consumer.
8. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware (USA), without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
9. Changes and languages
If we change these terms we will tell you before the change applies; if you do not agree you can close your account. This document is published in several languages. Translations are provided as a courtesy; if there is any difference between versions, the English version prevails.
