Training Requirements

Both, courses currently recognized by the Institute as companies wishing to certify their courses, each level has certain requirements that must be met.

"Training Level Expert" must include:

  • A minimum of 8 hours 
  • Facilitated by a Certified DISC Behavior Analyst
  • Understanding of what behavior is and is not
  • Characteristics of the 4 DISC factors
  • Natural, adapted and self-perceived profiles
  • Understanding and appreciating the different DISC styles
  • How to "read" styles
  • How our own style affect our life
  • Application of DISC to a praxis: Communication, sales, customer service, leadership, etc.

"Certification Level Analyst" must include all the above plus:

  • Facilitated by a Certified DISC Behavior Advanced Analyst
  • Interpretation of DISC graphics 
  • Giving feedback from graphics and reports
  • Symptomatic profiles 
  • Unusual profiles
  • Interpretation of disparity in profiles
  • Strong and weakness in behavior
  • Behavior modification process (DISC and development)
  • DISC in recruitment
  • DISC in team working
  • Job position profiles
  • DISC and competencies
  • DISC and leadership
  • DISC and sales
  • DISC and team roles
  • DISC maps
  • Written knowledge test

"Certification Level Advanced Analyst" must include all the above plus:

  • Supervised by a Certified DISC Behavior Master Analyst
  • A demonstrated experience of at least 100 hours in giving feedback or interpreting DISC reports
  • At least having facilitated 100 hours of level expert courses with a minimum of 100 students that have get the International DISC Institute Expert Certification
  • Having participated as attendant or assistant to at least 3 Analyst Certification courses
  • Demonstrate through articles, presentations, white papers or participation in studies or investigation, and advanced DISC knowledge
  • Having a DISC Mentor (Advanced or Master level) for at least one year to get support from, and which can provide a reference letter
  • A proven active and continued use of DISC methodology in his/her professional praxis
  • A proven and active promotion of the DISC methodology

"Certification Level Master Analyst" must include all the above plus:

  • Supervised by a Certified DISC Behavior Master Analyst
  • A demonstrated experience of at least 500 hours in giving feedback or interpreting DISC reports
  • At least having facilitated 200 hours of expert level courses with a minimum of 200 students that have get the International DISC Institute Expert Certification
  • At least having facilitated 20 courses of analyst level courses with a minimum of 200 students that have get the International DISC Institute Analyst Certification
  • A demonstrated experience in the investigation of DISC methodology and applications
  • Having develop tools and applications based in DISC methodology
  • A written thesis

All certifications level Analyst are revised by our committee in order to be accredited
